Compared with shearing,precision sawing has the following advantages:

1,cutting surface will not produce changes in metallographic structure(cold hardening,etc.),so there is no need for annealing.

2.Saw the blank with different diameters.

3.In addition to solid materials,you can also saw pipe and open profiles.

4,can be a bunch(bundles)of bars for sawing.

The disadvantage of precision sawing is waste of materials and low production efficiency.Higher production efficiency is also possible(for example,the use of carbide saw blades),but precision sawing tools are expensive,which increases the cost of a single blank.Compared with shearing,sawing can achieve smaller quality tolerances and more accurate blanking length,which can produce more precise workpiece.
